DU Admission to UG courses is done through cut-off marks released by the affiliated colleges of Delhi University. DU Admission to the PG and research courses is done through either the entrance test or merit in the last qualifying examination released by DU. Delhi University also conducts entrance exams (DUET) for PG and doctoral courses.

All admissions at Delhi University depend upon the choice of course. If an applicant chooses BBA or BBS courses they will have to appear for an entrance exam. But if applicants opt for courses like BA (H) or B.Sc (H) or B.Com (H) then applicants can apply through their scores in class XII depending upon the Delhi University Cutoff which is commonly released for all courses, college wise. PG admissions at Delhi University are both entrance and merit-based. If applicants are able to score 60% and above they at graduation level, they are eligible to apply through merit. Others can apply through the entrance mode.
