About This Entrance Exam

CU-CET(CUET) is a national-level entrance test offering admissions to UG courses in 45 Central Universities across India. CU-CET(CUET) 2022 Application window will open in the first week of April.

CUCET Courses 2022

CUET 2022 will be conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA) in the first week of July, UGC chairman M Jagdish Kumar announced. After exams NTA will prepare a merit list based on which Central Universities will admit students.

CUET 2022 Question Paper Pattern

CUET 2022 will be an MCS Computer based test(CBT) based on NCERT textbooks. Incorrect answers will carry negative marking.
The paper will have three sections- Section A( Language Test), Section B( The domain specific Test). and Section C( A General Test)
Section A: Candidates will need to compulsorily appear for one language test in out of 13 languages such as Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Punjabi, Odia and English.
Section B: Candidates need to pick at least six domains out of 27 offered for UG. Candidates may also appear for subjects that they have not studied at school. The domain- specific test will check the candidate's aptitude for the subjects.
Section C: This section has two sub sections. Subsection 1 will be general aptitude test while subsection 2 will be language test for languages other than languages of Section A.
The entrance exam will be conducted in two shifts. In shift 1 , candidates will appear for the language test and two chosen domain subjects, and the general test. In shift 2 candidates will appear for tests for other four domain subjects and an additional language test, if opted for.

Basic CUCET 2022 eligibility criteria

General category applicants should score at least 50% marks in class 12 for UG admission. 5% relaxation offered for SC/ ST candidates.
General category applicants should score at least 55% marks in Bachelors degree for PG admission. 5% relaxation offered for SC/ ST candidates.

B.Com

Eligibility: 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 in Commerce stream

M.Com

Eligibility: 50% marks in B.Com.

MBA

Eligibility: 50% marks in Graduation
Specializations: Business-Economics, International Business, and HRD.

MCA

Eligibility: 60% marks in Graduation.
